Known for her effortless approach to beauty and her intuitive understanding of modern femininity, Paloma has built a career creating hair that feels both elevated and undone. Working across fashion editorials, campaigns, and celebrity clientele, her philosophy extends beyond aesthetics, embracing beauty as something deeply connected to self-care, energy, and how we feel within ourselves.
With a focus on simplicity, nourishment, and creating moments of pause, Paloma’s approach to wellness is centred on cultivating longevity — internally and externally. Through thoughtful rituals, mindful movement, and an appreciation for natural beauty, she embodies a modern perspective on wellbeing that feels both aspirational and attainable.
RIISE: How do you wake in the morning?
Paloma: I will either wake up naturally, wake up to hearing my 18 month old son Valentine chatting in his bedroom, or to one of my older sons getting up early for school sports.
RIISE: What is your first drink of the day?
Paloma: Warm water, apple cider vinegar and half a lemon, cayenne pepper and a touch of maple syrup which I look forward to every morning. I follow this with a litre of water within 30 mins. Water flushing has been a wellness ritual of mine for nearly 10 years. It’s great for my digestion, skin and gives me really high energy.
RIISE: What do you have for breakfast?
Paloma: It depends on how I feel, I often feel nauseous from eating breakfast, but if I am hungry I’ll have two boiled eggs.
RIISE: Do you have a health hack you want to share?
Paloma: SLEEP. I prioritise it more than many things. I average 9-9.5 hours sleep a night. I believe it’s what women truly need. I know I need this in order to have the energy I need for my family and my business.
RIISE: How do you find peaceful moments throughout the day?
Paloma: On my days out of the salon I am conscious not to overschedule myself and my family, even if it means not catching up with friends I really want to see. It’s extremely important to me to have time and space in my days.
RIISE: What is your skincare hack?
Paloma: Simplicity. I use a combination of very active skincare products by dermatologist Natasha Cook and Emma Lewisham products that are gentle, hydrating and delicious.
RIISE: Do you have a mindfulness ritual?
RIISE: What supplements can't you live without?
Paloma: GLOWWA hair supplement. I’m a huge fan of supportive ingestible supplements for maximum thickness and quality of hair. My years of experience have shown this to be the best product on the market. I take two tablets daily.
RIISE: Do you have a favourite lunch to energise you?
Paloma: A rainbow plate! A salad made up of raw vegetables, a good solid protein portion and some form of carbohydrate. My go to is oven cooked pumpkin - it’s a staple in our fridge for both me and my baby. I also love adding pickled vegetables for my gut health.
RIISE: How do you maintain an attitude of gratitude?
Paloma: I’ve built all the abundance I have in my life so my gratitude is eternal.
RIISE: What have you done recently to improve your health and longevity?
Paloma: I have strengthened my commitment to getting 9-9.5 hours of sleep every night. My middle son started Year 7 this year and it has been a huge change for him. I’ve created strong boundaries for my whole family to help support us better and we are all benefitting. Between Sunday and Thursday nights the whole house has a lights out by 8:30pm policy. 9pm at the latest! We all wear Whoop watches too and we compare our stats in the morning, which my sons love.
RIISE: What herbal teas do you swear by?
Paloma: I love tea, particularly fresh ginger tea! I make my own fresh tea from my garden every night. We grow camomile, lemon verbena (which is my favourite) and lemon balm.
RIISE: Do you have a sleep hack?
Paloma: I wear a silk eye mask! My two eldest boys and I are obsessed. You sleep so much deeper wearing one!
RIISE: What's the last thing you do before you go to sleep?
Paloma: I take a shower or bath and then I put my legs up against the wall and wear an LED face mask for 20 mins. I read a little if my eyes haven’t already started drifting off.
