An afternoon of climate optimism with RIISE and RUSSH in Paris

Creative forces communed at La Halle aux Grains to explore the power of creativity and shifting the narrative of climate conversations. There could be no better setting for our afternoon with RUSSH than high above the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, filled with work showcasing some of the most beautiful feats of human creativity.

Champagne was poured to toast creativity and commence the spirited conversation about what gives us hope in the time of climate. Intimacy between guests made the lunch feel like a reunion of friends - stylists, artists, photographers, actors reflecting on how their individual and collective work has the power to make a real impact.

Powering this conversation was an entirely vegetarian, highly considered menu focused on local produce curated by chefs Michel and Sébastien Bras. Food that didn’t only nourish but also aligned with our belief that sustainability can be beautiful and indulgent.

Over wine and this magical menu, Sara explained that RIISE had come together with RUSSH because of our shared view that the power of human creativity is endless and can be deployed to problem solve in multiple ways. We believe that optimism and celebrating positive actions no matter how small is incredibly important to galvanise our collective ability to have big impact. No positive environmental action is too small when viewed in the collective 8 billion people on this planet. The more we celebrate our actions and those of each other the more likely we are to take further action and this has an energising impact on the pace of scaling the solutions we have already used our creativity to invent.
