Bridget Gao Hollitt is not who she once was. Beginning her career as a model in New York while studying acting, Gao Hollitt did not yet know her own creative tastes and gave herself over to the vision of those around her. “I realised by doing that, I was completely removing my own autonomy in the process. I was disconnecting myself from finding out who I really am and letting that be dictated by the industry,” she says.⁠
