Sneakers just got sustainable. Veja is the French footwear brand that treads a little lighter on the planet. After founders Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion couldn’t find an environmentally-friendly but stylish sneaker option back in 2005, they decided to make their own. Merging Parisian street style with sustainable values, Veja uses bio-based materials like rice waste, EVA from sugarcane and recycled plastic bottles, along with vegan leather and wild rubber ethically sourced from the Amazonian forest. A certified B Corp company, Veja’s sneakers are made in vetted factories in Brazil.
