"Really making time for a quick break and getaway, even if it’s just a few days, to mark the passage from one year to another and allow a real reset.I set goals for the new year, but make sure to reflect on how far things have come both in my career and personally over the last twelve months. I observe any unexpected shifts and opportunities that are worth persisting with."

"Going analogue, closing down my emails, pulling out my film camera, writing in a pen and paper journal, leaving my phone at home, making things with my hands - biscuits, felt decorations, mending - drinking filtered water, setting an earlier bedtime, doing yoga and meditation are all part of my everyday life that I don’t always have time to prioritise, but as the year comes to a close and I sign off for 2025, these are the foundations for summer and set my intentions for 2026.
To me luxury is living slowly, it’s being offline and spending time with the people you love - nothing else is nearly as important. x"

"This week I sat with my friends and we each shared 3 things that we are ready to leave behind in 2025, 3 things we are ready to embrace in 2026, and 3 things we would love to see happen before the year ends.
This has helped me get excited for the new year, release what’s no longer working, and still stay focused on ending the year with some joyful surprises."

As the year draws to a close in the quieter time between Christmas and the end of the year I mentally review what has gone well in my life during the year and what hasn’t. Not to beat myself up about what went wrong but to learn from mistake and do things differently. I think about what I want to accomplish in the coming year. This includes both accomplishments related to RIISE, to personal growth, relationships and my own interests.
I don’t make resolutions but I set intentions for the new year that help guide my behaviour. 2026 feels like an exciting year that is full of promise.
