Janine Zafra founded accessories brand Brie Leon in 2014. Based out of Sydney, the label’s signature jewellery line is inspired by organic shapes and vintage design. Currently a portion of this is made from recycled silver and gold, laddering up to Brie Leon’s goal of producing the entire range from recycled materials. More recently, the brand added handbags and small vegan leather goods to their offering. The majority of these are created from recycled or sustainable materials, such as a bio-leather made from apple waste and rPVB, an innovative fabric which repurposes safety glass from the automobile and architectural industry. Releasing only two collections per year, Brie Leon’s pieces are designed to be treasured beyond trends.
