Jedda Clay’s designs are an homage to the sculptural shapes found in the natural world, which can really be seen in the Large Solar Cup. Mimicking the wavy bark of a Eucalyptus tree, this functional vessel has a fluid form. It’s been handmade in the sculptor’s Byron Bay studio using resilient white stoneware clay, which has been coated in a smooth glaze for a shiny finish. Each piece is completely unique and one-of-a-kind.
